Sustainability Committee

The Sustainability Committee is a committee whose purpose is to comprehensively manage company-wide risks and to achieve Sustainability for the company primarily through ESG-related activities. The committee will comprehensively discuss and report to the Board of Directors on the identification and evaluation of company-wide risks surrounding the company and strategies for responding to those risks. Based on that report, the system is in place to reflect the approach and countermeasures in the management strategy and medium-term management plan.

Maruichi Group Carbon Neutral and Environment Committee

Maruichi Group's Carbon Neutral and Environment Committee discusses how to identify, assess, and respond to risks to our company regarding Environment issues such as reducing CO2 emissions, water security measures, preserving biodiversity, pollution control, chemical substance management, and waste reduction.
In addition, the domestic group companies that make up this committee share their goals and the progress of their initiatives, and in order to accelerate the promotion of their initiatives, the Domestic Group Carbon Neutral and Environment Committee meets monthly to strengthen horizontal collaboration.
