1948 (Showa 23)

Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd. Works, Ltd. was established.

1960 (Showa 35)

The company name was changed to Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd.

1961 (Showa 36)

Tokyo Plant established.

1962 (Showa 37)

The company was listed on the stock exchange.

1965 (Showa 40)

Sakai Plant established.

1966 (Showa 41)

Nagoya Plant established (integrated into the current Nagoya Plant in 1984).

1970 (Showa 45)

Hokkaido Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd. was established.

1972 (Showa 47)

Sakai Pole Plant established.
PT Indonesia tubes Co., Ltd. (ISTW) begins operations.

1973 (Showa 48)

Tokyo No. 2 Factory (currently Tokyo Plant) established.

1974 (Showa 49)

Shikoku Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd. was established.
Kyushu Maruichi Steel Tube Ltd. was established.

1977 (Showa 52)

Nagoya No. 2 Factory (currently Nagoya Plant) established.

1978 (Showa 53)

[USA] Maruichi American Corporation (MAC) is established.

1989 (Heisei 1)

Takuma Plant opened.

1995 (Heisei 7)

Established Kashima Pole Plant .

2000 - 2019

Expanding global business as a manufacturer with the top share in the welded tubes industry

2005 (Heisei 17)

[China] Maruichi Metal Products (Foshan) Co., Ltd. (MMP) was established.

2006 (Heisei 18)

[Vietnam] Acquired equity stake in Sun Steel Corporation (SUNSCO).
Acquired shares in Toyo Superior Steel Tube Works, Ltd.

2008 (Heisei 20)

[USA] Acquired an interest in Leavitt Tube Company, LLC (Leavitt).

2009 (Heisei 21)

Alpha Metal Co., Ltd. becomes a subsidiary.
[India] Acquired equity interest in KUMA STAINLESS TUBES LIMITED (KUMA).

2012 (Heisei 24)

[Mexico] MARUICHIMEX SA de CV (MMX) is established.

2015 (Heisei 27)

[USA] Maruichi Oregon Steel Tube, LLC (MOST) is established.

2018 (Heisei 30)

[Philippines] MARUICHI PHILIPPINES STEEL TUBE INC. (MPST) is established.

Further progress through entry into the stainless tubes business

2020 (Reiwa 2)

Acquired shares in Kobelco tubes Co., Ltd. (currently Maruichi Stainless Tube Co., Ltd.).

2021 (Reiwa 3)

[USA] Acquired Geneva Structual Tubes, LLC (MNT).

2022 (Reiwa 4)

[USA] MARUICHI Stainless Tube Texas Corporation (MST-X) is established.

2023 (Reiwa 5)

Toyo Superior Steel Tube Works, Ltd. becomes a consolidated subsidiary.

2024 (Reiwa 6)October
